Day by day

1. Day 1

   Arrive in Palakkad and climb into Nelliyampathy past Pothundy Dam and the hairpin bends of the ghat road, with the evening at your hill stay.

2. Day 2

   Spend the day at Seetharkundu and Kesavanpara viewpoints, the orange and vegetable farm and the surrounding tea and coffee estates.

3. Day 3

   Descend to the plains for Palakkad Fort, then continue to Mannarkkad near Silent Valley for the night.

4. Day 4

   Start early for Mukkali, where forest department jeeps and guides take visitors to the Sairandhri watchtower, then return to Palakkad for departure.

Silent Valley visits need advance forest department permission, begin in the morning and run only in their vehicles with a guide. Coimbatore airport is an alternative arrival point.
